Brothers
As we start a new theme for 2010 stir up, speak up and stay up I want to encourage you all to work for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Paul set the ground work for Timothy to go and preach the Words of Christ. We also are told to go and preach the Holy Word of our Lord and Savior.
A lot is happing in ABMen right now; we are getting calls to partner with American Baptist world alliance men fellowship., Discover Life Ministry, Man in the mirror, Discipleship men Ministry NCMM and others.
God is working with ABMen to teach all men to stir up the men of their church and teach them as Paul and Timothy did. 1 Timothy 1 talks about Misleading in Doctrine and Living. We are to stir up the people and teach them the way of our Lord, as verse 3 reads so that you (ABMen) may instruct certain men not to teach strange doctrines, but to teach God’s holy word. As we all know the Bible is being water down to read the way the person wants it to read, so his life style is ok to do what he wants. Verse 5 tells us but the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. We need to stand firm in our belief with love for all regardless of their beliefs, and have a pure heart, taking our sins to the altar of God; with a clean conscience, having our mind clear of unclean and impure thoughts and a sincere faith in God’s Holy Word the Bible.
My brothers we are stirring up the men of our church’s, now is the time to speak up, time to bring back the young men with a love for our Lord and Savior. We need to teach them that the Bible is God’s Holy word and show them what a true Christian man is all about. Let us show them that giving of them shelf is a way to serve those that need help. Show them how to hunt, fish, fix a broken window, and build a bird house or a dog house. Teach them how to read, write, to work out math problem. Be a mentor to the single family home. Have your men’s groups seek out the trouble youth and bring them back to the fold of the Great Shepherd Our Lord and Savior Jesus. Mentor them with the new programs we have on the ABMen’s web site www.abmen.org. As verse 19 tell us, let ABMen /USA fight the good fight, keep the faith, have a good conscience, do not reject or have a shipwreck keeping our faith and bring all men and boys back to God Holy Word.
